My Art
This ‘artful’ journey became my healing process and when my foundation was rattled to its core the hold of God was so much stronger.
The darkness that I needed to go through caused me to sit and be still, and it was during those "still" moments that I was drawn into the light and my images were born.
Each art piece references my healing process. Each art piece was created with many prayers, tears, and each has their own story -- not written, but painted.
Each art piece is by the Grace of God that I needed for my survival, for my forgiving process, and for my letting go process.
I create my works of art as icons to be used by the viewer as instruments of prayer, contemplation, and veneration to bring one closer to a communion with God. -RoseAnn Rapp, Artist
